We want to collect experiences from people who are in different ways affected by the Balkan route. Therefore we are having conversations about leaving, arriving, and belonging from several perspectives and discussing topics of migration and travel.The World Travelers Community (WTC) in Sarajevo supports people on the move, refugees, and asylum seekers in their long-term integration process with different offers and the possibility of employment opportunities. The podcast is one way to support this unique and important work as well as to advocate the silenced stories of our participants.

    03 - Yannis' Story

    In our third episode Yannis shares with us his initial hopes for better opportunities in Europe in search of a normal and peaceful life. He further reports on his experiences on the Balkan Route and violent pushbacks on the Bosnian Croatian border. Overall, the dangerous journey to an envisioned destination entails life-changing effects on Yannis. This episode marginally touches on and portrays these ramifications through the conversation with our friend.     01.2 - Reception centers (camps) with Sanela

    In the second part of our first episode with Sanela, the founder of the World Travelers Community in Sarajevo, will we discuss the situation of reception centers for People on the Move, also called camps, in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2020 untill today.
